Entry Fees
Entry fee for Endurance Quest Adventure Race 2012 is
2000 Euros per team if paid before the 31st of March 2012.
2600 Euros after 31st of March 2012 .
Race limit is 20 teams, basis of first pay - first served.
The balance of the entry fee must be paid as follows:
To qualify for early payment discount the balance of 1000 Euros must have been paid before 31st March 2012. Remaining balance1000 Euros need to be paid latest 1st of July.
Those not qualifying for the early payment discount should pay the balance of 2600 euros before 1st of July 2012
You do not need to have all members confirmed to enter. It's enough with captain and contact details.
Payment details will be posted to teams who make entry.
Team entry fee includes:
- Expedition length true archipelago adventure race 72-100 hours.
- Logistical support for event (NO need for support crews)
- Transport airport-HQ-airport (or harbour)
- Rescue teams for emergency first aid
- More disciplines than in any other race in world
- High quality and accurate GPS tracking and live race website
- All race maps and roadbooks
- Official race bib
- Race T-shirt
- 2 x double kayaks
- 1 x canoe
- 4 x airmattress
- Prizes: Value of different prizes will be around 10 000 Euro, NO prize money. If there will be 15 teams or more, then there will be a prize money total of 3000 Euros divided between top 3 teams + equipment prizes.
- Winning team will have free entry (worth 3500e) to Adventure Racing World Championships 2012. Second team will secure the spot to the race (race fee not covered)
- 21st - 24rd of July and 28th - 29th of July accommondation will include in the entry fee. The same hotel rooms will be availble also during the race, for family members or supporters.
- Banquet dinner, in Finnish style of course:)
- Making the registration before 31.3 the team will get 50% discount to races organised in Finland (Spring Adventure and No Limit Adventure)
Cancellation and Refunds
Teams may officially cancel their entry at any stage prior to the event by writing, calling or emailing the race organisers. The 1000 Euro deposit upon entry is not refundable at any stage. Cancellation of team entry after 1st April 2012, teams will only be refunded 50% of any money paid more than the deposit. Cancellations of team entry after 1st July 2012, teams will not be refunded any money.
Teams are welcome to transfer or sell their entry to another team if available. This will be a transaction between the teams. Race HQ must be notified as soon as possible and details must be updated.
If two teams do not have sufficient members and decide to join together, this will be strictly considered as one team canceling their entry. Refund policy will be as stated above, no exceptions.
If any member of your team is not able to make the race, then the whole team will be disqualified and NO refund will be given.
If the race is cancelled due to natural disasters, terrorism or other reasons etc, the organisers will make every effort to refund as much of the entry fee as possible to all teams. The race will not be re-scheduled.
