Discounts
There is different discounts prior the race. Only one discount / team can be used. Like ARWS/ARES teams can have the promised 200e discount only one time (taking part 2012 in some ARWS/ARES race before EQ). Registered Finnish teams to Endurance Quest, will have 50% discount taking part in Multisport Cup races before EQ. Each team can choose only one discount offered. Maximun discount for one team is 200e.
Race Jury
The Race Jury consists of three people from the Race organisation:

Petri Forsman Course- and technical director
Mika Pasonen Director of logistics and stuff
The Race Jury reserves the rights to decide about time-penalties, bonuses, disqualifications and course changes.
All protests shall be written and given to Race Staff at a TA, and no later than two hours after the team reaches the finish line.
Protests must be signed by the team captain, captain is always the spoke man for the team. Decisions of the Race Jury are final.
Teams that withdraw from the race have to report that to the nearest manned CP and to the Race Jury by the team mobilephone.
Teams
Each team will consist of four competitors. NO other persons can be used during the race. Before the race it's possible to use some outside person to help with food and other things.
The race is for mixed teams, with at least one of other sex in each team.
The final line-up of team members must be reported during the registration prior to the race. After the registration the team may not be changed. No changing of team members during the race is allowed. All four racers are on the course the whole time. There can be some split sections which will be marked in road book.
Assistance from the organisation
Organisers will move all racegears during the race. Each team will have 5 boxes. There will be a box plan delivered to each team before the race. All boxes will not be in each TA.
General
- Race time is in hours, minutes and seconds.
- Teams decide how much they want to sleep during the race.
- There will be one 2 hour long mandatory stop during the race. It will be about in the middle of the race. This STOP time will start when team reach the stop-CP, it's maybe not a TA.
- The race will not have dark zones.
- Time penalties for missing equipment and due to rule breaking will be served on the race course, at a CP prior to the finish line, after discussion with course- and technical director and the involved team(s).
- The distance between team-members must not exceed 100 meters / 1min unless the Road Book or the direction says otherwise.
- All four members must be present at every CP. If there will be a team sending only some members to the CP, will team have minimum 2 hour penalty time.
- Traffic rules and the trespass laws must be followed. If they are not, the penalty will range from 30 minutes up to disqualification.
- Littering will lead to time-penalty or disqualification.
Checkpoints (CP)
Along the course there are CP:s that have to be taken in the right order.
If a team misses a CP, the team has to backtrack to the CP. If the team doesn't do that, it will have penalty 2x time the leading time used to that section. In minimum the missed checkpoint penalty is 3 hour.
Transition Areas (TA)
The team captain needs to sign in and out at every TA. Team will find their equipment and will change gear and discipline at the TA.
Gear drop = GD / pick up = PU
At specially marked CPs, the teams are allowed to drop-/pickup special equipment to be transported by the organisation or carried by the team.
Media
- Every team will have pictures taken during the registration for the website.
- The race will be covered LIVE on the internet.
- Teams may link to a sponsor or to another website
- Teams may not show their own sponsors on the bibvest.
- Teams may expose their own sponsors on their own equipment.
